Procedure for an individual custom-made product
The shell
In this example, the seat shell was developed completely individually for the customer’s needs. Prior to production, intensive consultations are held with customers and a comprehensive body measurement is then carried out. This means that the product can be tailored precisely to the customer during production. Your product is manufactured directly on site in our workshop.
The mobilization
Our numerous partners offer models for customized mobility aids. In this case, the seat shell was planned and built to fit this seat shell base frame perfectly. Our partners offer basic frames / racks for all types of aids, which serve as a basis for special construction. This speeds up the production process and saves them capital at the same time.
The end product
Once the shell has been approved by the customer, the seat shell is upholstered and covered. Additional, optional components are also installed and the aid is assembled. Finally, in-house quality control is carried out. This is followed by final acceptance and delivery to the customer.
Customized aids are not standard products
Every person’s body changes over time and impairments can decrease as well as increase. This is precisely why rehabilitation aids are not standard products and are designed to be adapted to changes in the body. The needs of children in particular are constantly changing due to their growth alone. Mental development also means that children become more independent and conscientious in the use of their aids.
This gives you more freedom and increases your range of movement. But changes can also occur in an adult body. Rehabilitation measures can lead to an improvement in impairments and some technical restrictions are no longer necessary as a result.
