We have no influence on these processing activities.
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21 PARA. 2 GDPR).

If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place if it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, deletion and correction
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice if you have further questions on the subject of personal data.

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To do so, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to check this. You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data for the duration of the review.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is carried out unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the exercise, defense or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

Cookies
Our Internet pages use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your end device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your device when you visit our website (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions that you have requested (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the cookies in question are stored exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you about this separately in this privacy policy and, if necessary, request your consent.

Furthermore, Usercentrics stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to assign the consents you have given or revoke them. The data collected in this way is stored until you ask us to delete it, delete the Usercentrics cookie yourself or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
Usercentrics is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of certain technologies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR.
Contract for order processing
We have concluded an order processing contract with Usercentrics. This is a contract prescribed by data protection law, which ensures that Usercentrics processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – the server log files must be recorded for this purpose.
Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested.
We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Request by e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, we will store and process your inquiry, including all personal data (name, inquiry), for the purpose of processing your request.
The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

You can register on this website in order to use additional functions on the site. We will only use the data you enter for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. In the event of important changes, for example to the scope of the offer or technically necessary changes, we will use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way.
The data entered during registration is processed for the purpose of implementing the user relationship established by the registration and, if necessary, for the initiation of further contracts (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
The data collected during registration will be stored by us for as long as you are registered on this website and will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Comment function on this website
For the comment function on this page, in addition to your comment, information about the time the comment was created, your e-mail address and, if you are not posting anonymously, the user name you have chosen will be saved.
Storage of the IP address
Our comment function stores the IP addresses of users who post comments. As we do not check comments on this website before they are activated, we need this data in order to be able to take action against the author in the event of legal violations such as insults or propaganda.
Subscribe to comments
As a user of the site, you can subscribe to comments after registering. You will receive a confirmation e-mail to check whether you are the owner of the e-mail address provided. You can unsubscribe from this function at any time via a link in the info mails. In this case, the data entered when subscribing to comments will be deleted; however, if you have transmitted this data to us for other purposes and elsewhere (e.g. newsletter subscription), this data will remain with us.
Storage duration of the comments
The comments and the associated data are stored and remain on this website until the commented content has been completely deleted or the comments have to be deleted for legal reasons (e.g. offensive comments).
Legal basis
The comments are stored on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal email. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

In addition to the following information (which relates specifically to the “prescription” service), the following applies,
1. regarding the website sani-aktuell.de (on which this service is provided for the affiliated medical supply stores), the data protection information of Sanitätshaus Aktuell AG.
2. from the time your data is transmitted to us, our data protection information.
How long does the processing take?
Your data is collected by our “Prescription” service when you provide it to us. You will be asked to enter your personal data in the form provided. In doing so, you also enter the data from your prescription, which essentially contains so-called health data (“health data” includes special categories of personal data – according to Art. 4 No. 15 GDPR, “health data” are personal data relating to the physical or mental health of a natural person, including the provision of healthcare services, and from which information about their state of health is derived) You either enter this “prescription data” yourself via the prescription input mask or you can upload your prescription as a file (as a scan, photo or similar).
As part of the input form, we ask you to provide at least your surname and first name, your e-mail address and telephone number. The data you send us with the prescription can be found on the input form or on the prescription or prescription itself.
By clicking on the final button, in addition to the data entered by you, your IP address entered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration are recorded and stored by Sanitätshaus Aktuell AG; this serves the purpose of being able to trace any possible misuse of your data, in particular your e-mail address, at a later date.
By entering the data, ticking the checkboxes and clicking on the final button, you transmit the data and also give your consent to the e-mail communication as well as to the processing of your health data (Art. 9 para. 1, para. 2 lit. a, 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). This means that the data sent is transmitted to the central “prescription” service and is first temporarily stored by Sanitätshaus Aktuell AG and then forwarded to the selected medical supply retailer.
After forwarding your data to us, Sanitätshaus Aktuell AG will delete your prescription data and the telephone number you provided within 30 days at the latest. However, Sanitätshaus Aktuell AG needs your surname, first name and e-mail address as well as IP address, date and time of registration to prove your consent; this data will therefore only be deleted after this purpose has ceased to apply and its processing is not based on your consent but on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. and lit. f. GDPR. DSVGO.
The data will not be transmitted beyond what is described above.
What do we use your data for?
The above applies to the purpose of data collection.
In detail, your personal data will be used by Sanitätshaus Aktuell AG – as described – to forward it to us and only partially – as also described – for the purpose of proving your consent (to the extent described above) by Sanitätshaus Aktuell AG.
We, as the medical supply retailer selected by you, will receive the e-mail address and telephone number provided by Sanitätshaus Aktuell AG in order to contact you and discuss your individual care. For additional information, please refer to our company’s data protection information mentioned at the beginning (set link).
What rights do you have?
Insofar as we rely on your consent for processing – as explained in more detail above – you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). Withdrawal is possible at any time, but only with effect for the future. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. In the event of revocation, we will delete the data concerned immediately, unless further processing can be based on a legal basis for processing without consent.
In addition, you have comprehensive data subject rights (rights of access and intervention) vis-à-vis the controller with regard to the processing of your personal data, about which we inform you below:
- In particular, you have a right to information (Art. 15 GDPR) about your personal data processed by us, the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data processed, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period or the criteria for determining the storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, complaint to a supervisory authority, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us from you, the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on the logic involved and the scope and intended effects of such processing on you, as well as your right to be informed of the guarantees in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR if your data is transferred to third countries;
- You have the right to immediate correction (Art. 16 GDPR) of incorrect data concerning you and/or completion of your incomplete data stored by us;
- You have the right to request the erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) of your personal data if the requirements of Art. 17 (1) GDPR are met. However, this right does not apply in particular if the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
- You have the right to demand the restriction of the processing (Art. 18 GDPR) of your personal data as long as the accuracy of your data, which you dispute, is verified, if you refuse to delete your data due to inadmissible data processing and instead demand the restriction of the processing of your data, if you need your data to assert, exercise or defend legal claims after we no longer need this data after the purpose has been achieved or if you have lodged an objection for reasons of your particular situation, as long as it is not yet clear whether our legitimate reasons prevail;
- If you have asserted the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing against the controller (Art. 19 GDPR), the controller is obliged to notify all recipients to whom the personal data concerning you have been disclosed of this rectification or erasure of the data or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about these recipients.
- You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller (Art. 20 GDPR), insofar as this is technically feasible;
- If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right – without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy – to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
- If we process your personal data as part of a balancing of interests on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest, you also have the right to object to this processing at any time with effect for the future if there are reasons in your specific personal situation that prevent the processing. If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned. However, we reserve the right to continue processing if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend our legal claims.
General information on the duration of storage of your data
The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing and – if applicable – additionally by the respective statutory retention period (e.g. retention periods under commercial and tax law). When processing personal data on the basis of express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR or Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR, this data is stored until the data subject withdraws their consent.
If there are statutory retention periods for data that is processed within the framework of legal or similar obligations on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, this data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, provided that it is no longer required for contract fulfillment or contract initiation and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in further storage.
When processing personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, this data is stored until the data subject exercises their right to object in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
Unless otherwise stated in the other information in this declaration on specific processing situations, stored personal data is deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
