For many people with disabilities, wheelchairs are the most important aid for everyday mobility and participation in social life. If you are permanently or temporarily unable to move around completely independently due to a physical impairment, a wheelchair is an excellent aid in many cases. Thanks to the rapid development of electromobility, almost all wheelchair models are now able to be motorized. <\/p>\n

The requirements for the individual wheelchair model depend on numerous factors. For example, the type and severity of the impairment, the area of use and the physical constitution are of decisive importance. For example, can the patient move around in the wheelchair independently or is he or she dependent on a caregiver? How strongly does the patient need to be secured in the wheelchair?
